I Broke the Sound Barrier with a 3D Printed Rocket!

Meet “Spaghetti Carbonara,” a fully 3D printed carbon fiber rocket built to crack the sound barrier.
The project was sponsored by Bambu Lab’s H2S printer, whose sealed, recirculating chamber stabilizes temps for high-temp composites like PPACF.
Real airfoil fins cut flutter and keep the stack straight; and the first attempt flew so high, it was never seen again. 👋 The second launch clocked Mach 1.48 and everything survived a slightly spicy landing.
It’s fast, tiny, and surprisingly tough—proof that careful print choices matter as much as motor choice.
